Pastor Joseph Pratt spent most of his childhood in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Hurricane, WV as a teenager. He later became a high school football coach, spending six years mentoring and leading young athletes—a role that revealed his natural ability to connect, encourage, and inspire. That same passion carried over when he joined Creekside Church two years ago as our youth leader.

A year into serving, he answered the undeniable call to step into full-time ministry. While he is still working with mentors who continue to guide and shape his teaching and principles, he sees this step as a leap of faith and a blessing, trusting God to use him in even greater ways.

Pastor Joe's heart for leading others to Christ is contagious. His energy, humility, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel set him apart—always open to new ideas and never afraid to go the extra mile. He often shares, "I may feel unworthy to stand and preach God’s Word, but as long as the Lord and this church will have me, I’ll keep showing up—ready and willing.”

Whether in the pulpit, at a youth event, or simply having a conversation, Joe leads with authenticity, joy, and a deep love for people.
